COS+H 2016 successfully held on 27-29thSeptember in Beijing

COS+H 2016 attracted 264 exhibitors from 17 countries, including globallyrecognizedcompanies including 3M, Honeywell, Dräger, UVEX, MSA, Dupont, Lakeland, Ansell, Delta, Justrite, Shenyang Xinyang Polyurethane, SKYLOTEC, and Gastec . As an international stage and showcase for the latest solutions, the product category of COS+H 2016 covers a full range of personal-safety equipment including workplace safety and protective technologies, online work safety information system for government and corporations, and assessment / consulting services for occupational health and safety. Many new trends and highlights were revealed during the show.

COS+H 2016 attracted 20,126visitors from 23 countries of Asia, Europe, North America and Oceania, efficiently connecting and interacting with the exhibitors. Over 80% of visitors were satisfied, particularly with the number of exhibitors and have expressed interest in visiting the next exhibition.

State councilor Wang Yong, accompanied by director general of State Administration of Work Safety Yang Huanning, deputy director general of State Administration of Work Safety and director of National Administration for Work Safety Emergency Response Sun Huashan, visited the exhibition and offered his suggestions on how to make good use of scientific research capabilities of corporations to promote innovation as well as playing an important role in work safety technologies.

Officials from several departments of the State Administration of Work Safety, including the Department of Planning, Department of Regulations through VI, Department of Work Safety, as well as Department of Technology and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd Units 307-308, Tower 1, German Center for Industry and Trade Shanghai 88 Keyuan Road, Pudong, Shanghai 201203, P.R. China Equipment of State Administration of Coal Mine Safety and National Administration for Work Safety Emergency Response visited the exhibition and attended a symposium which studies approaches within enterprises for better working environment, promoting the use of advanced work safety equipment and enhancing safety-related technologies.

Concurrent events, brilliant achievements

“The 8th China International Forum on Work Safety,” held concurrently during the exhibition, was co-hosted by State Administration of Work Safety and International Labor Organization. Scholars of work safety from both China and abroad gathered in the forum to share experiences in risk management, control and accident prevention. New approaches to OSH supervision were discussed to facilitate international exchange and cooperation in the field of work safety and how it can be strengthened.

The exhibition also provided valuable and inspiring technical seminars, including lectures given by GE, Branch of Repair and Maintenance of China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau,3M China, Draeger Safety Equipment, Dupont, SAI Global Limited, SATRA Technology Centre, UVEX, and Shandong Saifeite Group Ltd, focusing on new industrial rules and technological trends, helped promote cooperation and exchanges, and popularized advancements of the industry.

During the exhibition’s three days, Beijing Jun Jie Yi Ming Clothing, Draeger, 3M, UVEX and Chunhui Garment launched new products via fashion shows, providing stylishly designed displays and energetic demonstrations, bringing a stirring atmosphere to the exhibition hall.
