CIOSH 2021: Impressive Booking Levels Write New Chapter in Safety and Health at Work in China

The largest, most influential and longest-running trade fair for Occupational Safety and Health in China, the 102nd China International Occupational Safety & Health Goods Expo (CIOSH 2021), organized by the China Textile Commerce Association (CTCA) and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (MDS), will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) from 14-16 April 2021. CIOSH 2021 attracts more than 1,600 exhibitors with an exhibition area of over 80,000 square meters, breaking the record since its inception in 1966 and marking a great 102nd edition.

Top exhibitors showcasing a wide range of products and equipment for Occupational Safety and Health

CIOSH 2021 will be fully upgraded with a wide range of products and technologies across seven exhibition halls from Hall E1 to E7 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).

Exhibits include protective products for head, eye, ear, face, hand, arm, foot and leg, respiratory protection products, protective wear and workwear, fall protection and protection products for working at greater heights, raw materials, accessories and components, fire protection products, emergency rescue techniques & equipment and anti-pandemic supplies. The trade fair has attracted participation of international brands including 3M, Honeywell, MSA, UVEX, DELTAPLUS, Ansell, Lakeland, BOSCH, SATA, Makrite, Justrite, GVS, JSP, Tienchen, SIR Safety, CTC, TenCate, DEKRA, SKYLOTEC, SAFCO, Sanitized, etc. Leading Chinese players are also ready to showcase the best of their collections including Xing Yu Gloves, DS Safety, Shield King, SOMO, Strong Safety, Baojian, Chunhui, Sunbird Group, U.Protec, CM Chaomei, Shima, SAFETY-INXS, Gubang, Shuang’an.

This year, CIOSH has set up a special zone of PPE products for children in Hall E7. There will be safety education sessions and live demonstrations of products with a focus on children's safety.

New: Special Zone for Fall Protection

The new Special Zone for Fall Protection in Hall E5 celebrates its premiere this year. With increasing awareness of occupational safety in companies, protection for working at greater heights is receiving extensive attention. An effective fall protection scheme requires not only equipment, but also guidance and training from professional instructors. Therefore, CIOSH 2021 has invited SKYLOTEC, PETZL and NTR Safety, three companies that specialize in protection at greater heights, to show the necessity of fall protection through live demonstrations of rope climbing, rescues and a series of training activities to further enhance worker safety.

Global PPE Industry Round Table discusses new trends in the sector

CIOSH is dedicated to providing innovative opportunities and fresh impetus for the continuous development of the PPE industry and to building the best interactive platform for information exchange and practice sharing. For the first time, CIOSH 2021 has invited PPE industry experts from Belgium, Brazil, China, Germany, Italy, Turkey and the USA to join the online global industry forum on April 15th, sharing the current situation and future development of the global PPE market under COVID-19 pandemic and delivering the latest industry information and the most reliable market interpretations. The live conference venue will be the Kerry Hotel in Pudong, bringing together industry insiders to discuss new ways of developing the PPE market.

The 2nd Epidemic Prevention & Response Event (EPRE)

The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 has made personal protective equipment a focus of attention. Against this backdrop, the first Epidemic Prevention & Response Event (EPRE) was held in parallel with CIOSH 2020, which received unanimous acclaim. The event consists of epidemic prevention and emergency response topics with the aim of enhancing public awareness of epidemics, and to provide effective and efficient solutions to the management and operation of companies in the event of outbreaks and other emergencies. The 2nd EPRE has invited five experts to focus on the verification and certification of PPE products for the European market, and provide industry insights for exporting domestic high-quality protective equipment to overseas markets.

CIOSH 2021 runs from 14 to 16 April at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). From April 14 to 15, the opening hours are 9.00 am to 4.30 pm, and on April 16, the opening hours are 9.00 am to 12.00 am.
